My name is Dominique, and I’ve been living in California’s Bay Area since 2012. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and a Master’s degree in Creative Writing with emphasis on poetry.
Currently: I make a living by writing emails.
I took piano lessons when I was younger. I also have a hobby of procuring guitars and love experimenting with different sounds and styles through effects pedals.
Aside from music, I’m an avid reader of both speculative fiction and non-fiction. I find both genres fascinating and enjoy exploring new ideas and perspectives. I’m kind of a lit snob because I was an English Lit Major back in the BA days.
I prioritize going to the gym to stay active. As a plant-based celiac, I’m passionate about discovering new foods and flavors that fit my dietary restrictions. In my free time, I love visiting art museums, particularly those with exhibits on design and architecture.
I’m also an enthusiastic mushroom hunter and love exploring the outdoors in search of new species. I value minimalism in my lifestyle and try to incorporate it into everything I do. And lastly, I’m a proud cat person and love spending time with my baby girl, Glenn. I also have a dog named Benny.
